Fans of Rick and Morty have a lot to look forward to, as the beloved series is officially renewed through season 12. Adult Swim has yet to reveal an exact release date for season eight which is expected in 2025. However, the New York Comic Con panel brought thrilling news: the show will run at least until 2029.
Co-creator Dan Harmon, alongside the cast, expressed their excitement for more interdimensional adventures. It was even jokingly hinted that the series might go on for “100 years” — an allusion to one of Rick’s iconic quotes. With seasons 11 and 12 confirmed, viewers can expect Rick’s greed and Morty’s reluctance to fuel many more chaotic storylines.

With a stellar voice cast including Ian Cardoni (Rick), Harry Belden (Morty), Chris Parnell (Jerry), Sarah Chalke (Beth), and Spencer Grammer (Summer), the show’s future looks bright — or as bright as things can get in the Rick and Morty multiverse.
