Smartphones that support eSIM have been around for a few years now. eSIM technology is the future of smartphone network connectivity. In the US, all iPhones sold there come with eSIM only. In all other countries, iPhones support both Nano-SIM and eSIM.
What about Android smartphones? Considering that there are dozens of Android smartphone brands, this becomes a more complicated scenario. Major brands support eSIM in their premium flagship and upper mid-range devices. However, entry-level and lower mid-range devices lack eSIM support. This will change at some point and eventually, all smartphones will support eSIM.
However, it is important to note that some Android smartphone brands do not have any eSIM smartphones at all as of now. Below is a list of brands that offer eSIM phones and those that don’t.
