WhatsApp remains popular for sharing photos, mainly due to its high image quality compared to other apps. However, users have long complained about the issue of cumbersomely selecting multiple images at once. The latest beta update aims to solve this issue and make the experience smoother. WhatsApp’s new update makes sending multiple images easier
According to WaBetaInfo, the latest beta update (Android version 2.24.24.9) brings big changes to image selection. Before this update, you were taken to the editing screen as soon as you selected a photo. This was frustrating for anyone wanting to quickly select multiple photos. WhatsApp has now simplified this process thus making the sending of multiple images easier. Instead, once you select an image, you’ll be taken back to the chat screen, where you can select more photos without interruption.
Despite this change, the editing option is still there. If you want to edit a photo, just tap the “Edit” button. The update allows users to send photos immediately or edit them first.
New feature to add captions
WhatsApp has also added a new captions feature. If you’re sending multiple photos or videos, you can now add a caption to each one individually. If you prefer, you can also add a single caption that will apply to all selected media at once. This update makes it easier to describe what you’re sharing, especially when sending a large number of photos or videos together. WhatsApp is testing a few more changes to improve the user experience. For example, it now makes it easier to access your media gallery, allowing you to browse and select images faster. These changes are still in beta testing, so some users may notice small bugs as the app improves.
These updates show WhatsApp’s efforts to make the app more user-friendly. Easier image selection and improved caption options make sharing photos faster and easier.
