Samsung Electronics has officially launched the Galaxy A06, the latest addition to its popular A series lineup. Known for delivering powerful performance at an affordable price, the Galaxy A06 is set to offer an impressive mix of features and design. This makes it a standout in the entry-level smartphone market.
The Galaxy A06 comes equipped with a 50MP rear camera that features Samsung’s Nightography technology, ensuring clear, high-quality images even in low-light conditions. The front 8MP camera and 2MP depth camera provide excellent selfie and portrait capabilities with advanced beautification options.
Featuring a 6.7-inch HD+ Infinity-U display, the A06 offers vivid colors and enhanced brightness, perfect for outdoor use. The phone’s slim design, comfortable grip, and side fingerprint scanner further enhance its user-friendly experience.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A06 boasts a 5000mAh battery, which is built to last through extended use. It supports 25W Super-Fast Charging, allowing users to charge up to 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes. This ensures users can spend more time enjoying their device and less time worrying about battery life.
According to Stephen Okwara, Head of Product Management at Samsung Electronics West Africa, the Samsung Knox Security ensures users’ private data is well-protected. It also has the promise of continuous operating system updates and up to four years of security updates. Thus, the A06 is designed to meet the evolving needs of its users.

Available in four colors — Black, Blue Green, Lime, and Silver — the Samsung Galaxy A06 will hit authorized Samsung stores in Nigeria starting October 11, 2024, with a starting price of N146,000. Additionally, customers can enjoy screen damage insurance for just N9,000.
