TikTok has announced that it is opening up its Symphony Creative Studio to all advertisers. This is a welcome step that aims to save stress and time when creating new content. Symphony Creative Studio includes an AI-powered video creation tool that allows users to create videos in minutes with minimal user input.
The tool works by inputting relevant information, such as product information sheets and other assets, into input fields, which control the output of the AI tool. Users can also paste product URLs directly into the tool to easily create content.
Highlighted use cases include the ability to support different languages to localize content for different markets and create digital avatars that can follow a script. Pre-made avatars based on licensed actors support more than 30 languages. However, advertisers can also create their custom avatars.
Symphony Creative Studio generates different videos, layouts, and scripts based on the app’s existing strong content. TikTok works with partners such as Billo and Getty Images to use assets approved for commercial use, giving advertisers one less thing to worry about.
After advertisers select their preferred video, they can further edit and customize it before exporting and downloading it.
TikTok is aware that artificial intelligence may pose some risks, especially regarding privacy and security, and assures that “custom avatars are created only from approved footage and with explicit consent,” and that AI-generated content is fully transparent and marked accordingly.
